My name is Patryce L. Harvey and I have been an educator for almost 20 years.  Currently, I am serving as language arts teacher for a local school system and as an Instructional Designer for higher ed institutions as well as for- and non-profits companies.  I’ve also served as “The Tech Lady” for elementary, middle, and high school students.  I have created this blog to provide support and solutions to fellow teachers and leaders who have a passion for literacy and using technology for learning.

As lifelong learners ourselves, we have to become researchers and curators of knowledge which we in turn share with our students and staff.  Providing these resources lessons the likelihood of having our teachers feel that disciplinary literacy and ed tech integration is just “one more thing” on an excruciatingly long to do list.

Success doesn’t have to be a “happy accident”.  Coaches, trainers and teacher leaders can facilitate success for their teachers and students by having a plan and the know-how to implement that plan.  Parents can be empowered to come alongside their children and schools as they learn and grow.  And this blog will be here to provide you with the tips, tools, and encouragement you need every step of the way.
